HomeAid is the only nonprofit organization that serves the temporarily homeless by collaborating with the building industry and nonprofit care providers. The temporarily homeless include families and individuals who have had a life-changing experience that has left them temporarily homeless such as:

• Job loss
• Foreclosure or bankruptcy
• Domestic violence
• Illness, disability or death of a spouse
• Medical expenses for self, spouse or children
• Crisis pregnancy
• Abandoned or neglected youth
• Natural disaster
• Immigrant families seeking asylum
• Veterans returning home from war
